Welcome!
On behalf of Bishop Daniel Felton, I welcome you to the website of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary, and our parish in the midst of the city, St. Mary Star of the Sea!
This is the first time that both parishes I serve have the Mother of God as their patroness. She, who said yes to God the Father when the angel appeared to Her, now serves as our great example, urging us always to say our own “yes” to God. Many people come through the doors of our Churches for varied reasons: some as tourists, others seeking a quiet place to pray, and most coming for Mass, to pray with our own worshipping communities for parish Masses or the great ceremonies of our Diocese. No doubt beauty surrounds anyone who enters the doors of our Churches.
I hope that you will find all the information you are looking for here on our internet presence. There are many great things happening in our parishes. And of course, we are always grateful to see visitors walk through our doors. I hope to see you, parishioners and friends who visit, at our magnificent Churches. And if you can’t find what you need here, please call and we will be happy to help you!
Sincerely in Christ and Mary Immaculate,
Fr. Anthony Wroblewski
