The Catholic Church has a series of steps in place for someone to become Catholic. These steps exist to help the individual be very sure about the decision they’re making through a number of informative sessions about what the Church believes and why. We are committed to removing as many obstacles as possible that keep you from becoming a Catholic.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is a journey of faith for persons who are not baptized, who are baptized in another Christian tradition and desire to become Catholic, and baptized Catholics in need of First Communion and/or Confirmation.
If you are interested in becoming Catholic or learning more about the Catholic faith, please contact one of our priests at 218.728.3646 or Dcn. Jim and Margo Philbin at [email protected] and [email protected]. OCIA sessions begin in the Fall and are held on Wednesday evenings at the Cathedral.
