Altar Servers:

Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers:  Candace Wegerson

Ushers:  Bob Wolters

Altar Servers

Altar Servers are responsible for preparing the church for the Mass by lighting the candles, placing the gifts on the offertory table, and setting the Sacramentary and other items for communion on the credence tables.  Altar servers must arrive in the sacristy 15 minutes before the scheduled time for Mass.  Altar Servers are at least 4th grade age.

Lectors

Lectors are responsible for proclaiming the first and second readings.  There are workbooks available to help Lectors prepare for the readings.  These workbooks are available in the sacristy and the Parish office.

Eucharistic Ministers

There are usually 4 Eucharistic Ministers per Saturday/Sunday Masses.  They help in the distribution of Holy Communion.  Eucharistic Minister training sessions will be held periodically for people who are interested in participating in this ministry.

Greeters

There are usually two greeters who welcome worshipers to the Mass.  They should identify two or three people to take up the gifts at the offertory.  They may assist the Ushers seating people when there are large church crowds at the holidays.

Ushers

Ushers mainly serve by taking the collection(s) and getting those offerings to the sacristy after the Mass.  They may be called on to help worshipers who have questions or difficulties before, during or after the Mass.
